Overview

The SAFe RTE Training is a 3-day course that dives deep in understanding the role and responsibilities of an RTE in the SAFe enterprise and know more about the required skills to facilitate and enable Value Delivery throughout via Agile Release Trains (ARTs). With the vision of becoming a SAFe® 5.1 Release Train Engineer RTE Training, attendees understand how to build a high-performing ART with servant leadership and coaching.

As Program Increment (PI) is an enabler of alignment across a SAFe organization, attendees are taught to learn the preparation, planning and executing a Program Increment (PI) planning event, in this SAFe RTE Training. Also, attendees of RTE Certification learn how to accelerate ART processes and execution, coach leaders, teams, and scrum Masters in new processes and mindsets.

Exam details:

Before taking the exam, the attendee must complete the SAFe® RTE Certification Training in order to become Certified SAFe® Release Train Engineer. The course provides access to the study material and resources for the exam, but mere attending the course doesn’t guarantee passing the exam.

Exam Name - SAFe® 5.1 Release Train Engineer Exam

Format - Multiple Choice

Scheme - Single browser – Web based, closed book minus external assistance, timed

Access - Attendees can access the exam upon completing the SAFe® Release Train Engineer Course within the SAFe community

Duration - Attendees will have 120 minutes i,e. 2 hours to complete the exam (60 Questions)

Passing Score - 73%

Language - English

Retake Policy - The Attendee can make a second attempt (retake) immediately after the first attempt. It takes a 10-day wait for the third attempt and 30-day wait for the fourth attempt.

Complete the mandatory feedback survey to proceed to the practice test
Locate the Practice Test section and below you will find the practice test, then click the blue Launch button to the right of it.
You can take the practice test as many times as you need to feel prepared for the actual exam
